The Hotel operates a tourist accommodation establishment offering short stays and related services.

2.Scope of Application
2.1

These Terms apply to all bookings and all stays at Zaru Hotel, regardless of the booking channel used (direct booking, online booking platforms such as Booking.com, email, telephone, or on-site booking).

2.2

In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the terms of a third-party booking platform, the terms accepted at the time of booking shall prevail, to the extent required by applicable law.

3. Bookings and Booking Conditions
3.1

Bookings may be made:

• Online via third-party platforms, including Booking.com
• By email or telephone
• Directly with the Hotel, subject to availability

3.2

A booking becomes final and binding once it has been confirmed by the Hotel and, where applicable, once a valid payment method has been provided.

3.3

The Hotel reserves the right to refuse a booking in the event of unavailability, payment issues, or non-compliance with these Terms.

3.4

Guests must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

4. Rates, Currency and Taxes
4.1

Room rates are expressed in:

• Solomon Islands Dollars (SBD)

4.2

The applicable currency and the total price are displayed at the time of booking. Exchange rates used by banks or payment providers may vary and are beyond the Hotel’s control.

4.3

Prices include applicable local taxes unless otherwise stated. Tourist taxes or charges imposed by government authorities, where applicable, may be payable on site.

4.4

The Hotel reserves the right to modify its rates at any time. However, confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed rate.

5. Payment Terms
5.1

Depending on the selected rate, payment may be:

• Full prepayment at the time of booking
• Partial prepayment
• Paid on arrival or departure

5.2

The Hotel may request a bank card as a guarantee and reserves the right to carry out a pre-authorisation or charge prior to arrival.

5.3

In the event of early departure, no refund will be granted unless expressly stated in the booking conditions.

6. Check-in and Check-out
6.1

Check-in time: from 3:00 PM

6.2

Check-out time: no later than 11:00 AM
